    本所之教育目標在「培育知識服務之管理及學術研究人才，從事知識之保存、組織、加值、傳遞、與管理之研究，以期在知識經濟社會中，為知識使用者創造價值」。

  • (中華民國) 淡江大學資訊與圖書館學系

    資訊與圖書館學系前身為教育資料科學學系，89年8月起，教育資料科學學系正名為「資訊與圖書館學系」，簡稱資圖系。除了傳統圖書館學，特別加強電子圖書館．多媒體及電腦網路，與資訊社會息息相關之課程，並且強調實際運用有效學習。
